Our Story

Meet Matt

I'm Matt Mitchell, owner and operator of Pikes Peak Tree Service. For more than 15 years, I've dedicated my career to professional tree care, gaining experience in everything from fine pruning and tree preservation to large-scale removals and hazardous tree work. In 2025, I founded Pikes Peak Tree Service with a simple goal: to provide exceptional tree care backed by quality workmanship, honest communication, and dependable service.

At Pikes Peak Tree Service, we know that inviting someone onto your property is built on trust. That's why we approach every project with the same care and attention we'd expect at our own home. Whether we're removing a hazardous tree, pruning to promote long-term health, or helping protect your landscape, our commitment is to deliver safe, reliable tree care with exceptional customer service.

The woman is in the middle, holding a young girl, wearing a pink dress and beige heels. The girl has twin pigtails and is wearing a floral dress with a light jacket, white shoes, and socks. About

Family Values

My wife, Hannah, and I believe in building a life centered around hard work, family, and serving our community. As Missouri natives, we were raised to value honesty, dependability, and treating others the way we'd want to be treated. Those principles have guided us through every chapter of our journey—from Missouri to Pennsylvania, and ultimately to Colorado Springs—where we've chosen to put down roots and raise our family.

Today, we're grateful to be raising our daughter, Madelyn, in the Pikes Peak Region. The same principles we hope to pass on to her are the ones that guide our business every day. From the first phone call to the final cleanup, we're committed to treating every property with care and every customer like a neighbor. We're proud to call Colorado Springs home and honored to serve the families who make this community so special.
